Hi Everyone,

We have been using Solve360 for a few months now and we love it, but we have a lot of data in our old CRM, Capsule.

I have imported all of my contacts and companies, but does anyone know of a way to import activity data?

Thanks in advance,

I searched for ‘toutapp’ in the forum but there weren’t any returns, so I’m not sure if this would be useful for people.

Does anyone here use Toutapp? What is your experience?

It already integrates with other CRM’s so maybe S360 could be next?

Although I do have S360 pushing to Google so at least my contacts are in Tout, but I’m sure there might be some other advantages to a real integration with a CRM.

Problem with Activity, “Upload files from your computer”

When adding the Activity, “Upload files from your computer”, a link to the file appears in the Activity List.

Clicking on this file link should OPEN the file for viewing in a new tab if it is type PDF, jpg, png, bmp, gif, wmv, mov, mp3, wav or other common Internet media types. Currently, clicking on the link DOWNLOADS the file you just uploaded.

The purpose of adding such an Activity is to provide users with access to this file in context of the Company, Contact or Project, either to view it, to download it to their computer or both.

I argue that the primary reason for the link is to view or play the document in context. If users could view or play a document by clicking on the link, they probably wouldn’t need to download it.

Since Solve only offers to download the file, the only way to view or play it is to first download it, then open it.

I just don’t understand why this link doesn’t open the file for viewing it a new tab as with most other programs. If you want to download the file, simply right-click the link and choose “Save link as…“.

Please consider this change so we can all add reference documents for viewing without having to put files onto Dropbox or box.net and using web-links to them.

Thanks very much.

Greetings. The ‘follow up queue’ functionality is going in this direction, but…

I think it would be a great to a be able to group tasks based on a customized category in addition to the current group-by-date functionality.

As many of the leading task-management methodologies acknowledge, it always feels great to attach specific dates to individual tasks, but then two minutes later a high-priority item comes out of nowhere, needs to be addressed, and then all the less-important tasks need to get bumped back by a day or two. You then have to adjust the dates on each of them, or suffer an increasingly long list of overdue tasks shouting at you in stress-inducing red.

I think it would be great if you allowed folks to create custom categories (e.g., Today, Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3), and then:
- Be able to view those task grouped by category
- Easily drag tasks between categories as your priorities change

Would love if others had ideas to contribute around this…

Thanks!

First let me say that I love the new Queue a Follow Up. We can now keep all our prospecting tasks and follow ups separate from the main tasks which need to get done in our business.

I found 2 issues though:

1)If we have Company/Contact data stored on the TOP (vs the LEFT), we can’t check off the Follow Up because the hover over is in the way. Please move the hover over to the right, like on Tasks

2)The Follow Up activity only has a Description, not a Title and Description like Tasks do; this is OK (but not ideal). The main issue is that if we write notes on different lines when the Follow Up is open then all get transposed to one line. However this doesn’t happen when viewing the Follow Up in the Follow Up Report. The use case is this:

I have a Follow Up for a prospect, and I want to list all the times I’ve tried to reach them, or put notes if I’ve sent an email etc. It’s much nicer and easier to see in a list top to bottom than on one line. The Tasks already operate this way. It would be great if you can tweak the Follow Up to work the same way.

First of all I like Solve360 very much. I have used all kinds of CRM’s in my different companies. But the approach of Solve360 is very nice and intuitive.

What I would like to see is the possibility to filter the activities when you are on a contact, company or blog page. Filtering by activity type or data range would be great. Now the list is growing and growing.

We run a small online retailing business with about 1000 customers who regularly order from us. All of the invoice emails from our ecommerce system get automatically forwarded to Solve and show up under ACTIVITIES. However, I’m struggling to work out how to sort our customers by last order. When I open the “REPORT & UPDATE ACTIVITES” window, it only seems to list the manually entered activities, not the emails. I would really like to find a way to sort our database in a way to quickly find customers who haven’t placed an order for several months so we can contact them. Does this ability exist?
