Assign to ?

How do I assign either a selection of contacts or companies to a particular sales person? So far it seems I have to do this one at a time which isn’t going to work.

On another front, I am new to 360 Solve, which I am beginning to like but there doesn’t seem to be any sort of basic reference guide on how to use it. I feel the question above is pretty simple so it is odd to have to go through a forum to get it answered. I suspect I am missing something on the Solve’360 web site which has all the set-up information laid out in a logical form.

Put simply is there a reference guide anywhere?

disappearing items?

I’ve tried to add 3 formatted notes to a Company record and they didn’t show up. They don’t show up in the “actions logged for everyone” Activities Dashboard either. I’m not sure what’s wrong…

I also had something else not show up—when I added a time-tracking item to an event, it didn’t show. But the 2nd time I tried this it did show up.

Are these type of oddities normal, or is there a good reason I am hitting these issues? Thanks for your time.

Web Form Code Help

Hey there!

does anyone have any code examples for creating a contact with a formatted note in Solve after someone fills out a web form? I am using the example code for the contact form provided on this website, but I am not sure how to get message text (i.e. a multi-line text area) into Solve within a note. I am an enthusiastic hack at this stuff but not an expert by any means. Any help on this would rule.

Project Bars in ‘timeline’

How do you move the project bars in the timeline? When I try to move them they elongate from the present date. Am I missing something?

I’ve looked through many pages of past posts but didn’t see any comments/questions regarding proof of delivery or reports for undeliverable emails. When using the scheduled email function, is there an option to report on undeliverable emails or proof emails were delivered?

Searching field and filenames the same as GoogleApps Site Search Feature

Greetings

When I search for a particular file name i.e. ANC (Anti-nup Contract)it pulls a short listed display of the contacts in the contacts pane which contain the words ANC.

However if the client name contains ANC in an Address then it pulls it as well and in some cases I get 7 contacts displayed making the narrow searching more difficult as I have to go into each contact to see which one displays the information I’m searching for.

I was wondering if the search function could be upgraded to the same format as is displayed in GoogleApps Site Intranet facility where you type the name or words you are searching for and it brings up a seach list the same as google where it displays the filenames and contacts, tasks etc… with the appropiate item searched for and highlighted, and once you click on it it takes you to that file or page.

This would be great particularly with contacts that have a lot of section headers and files underneath them and you are trying to search for a particular file quickly.

Can’t see any contacts or companies

I think I just eliminated my ability to see any contacts or companies by deleting the original “security group” to which everything was assigned. I re-created a group of the same name (my company name), but it didn’t cause anything to come back. As of right now, I can see a total of zero contacts and companies. Oops.

Help?

Is there a function for chatting/instant messaging? If so - how do I access it?

If not, is there one in development? ;-)
