In Contacts, Companies and Project blogs I would love to have a form field called Country but that has all the countries in the world already populated, like on many web sites pull down menus. For companies with projects all over the globe this will assist in searching and filtering by country without the risk of users using different variants of country names: eg: UK vs U.K. , Holland vs Netherlands etc

Thoughts?

An activity that allows for adding a very simple table with basic calculation capability. It can be the same level of calculation available to tables in MS Word (+,-,*,/)
One example would be sales reports, showing % of targets vs. performance.

Of course, I can upload an excel file, but something like this would be more practical.

We just started using solve360 and its great. We do have one request. We have some custom fields for revenue opportunities. We would love to be able to sort the “opportunities managed by” report in the activities dashboard by one of these custom fields. Right now they are organized by projected close date. We would love to see that sorted by one of our custom fields instead. At the very least, it would be great to sort these opportunities by something besides projected close data like by status.

With the social media age upon us, I think it’s important to have some sort of integration with Twitter / Facebook / LinkedIn streams for contacts. And even killer feature would be pulling in mentions of my company from each of these social sites into a dashboard in Solve360. This would give me a one-stop experience for all my biz communication needs - and save me tons of time.

And, in general, if there’s any mention of integration with social media planned, could anyone direct me to forum posts?

I would like to throw in my suggestions for a ‘real’ Gantt chart in the Activities -> Show Timeline For window.

This would mean being able to select not only the end date of the Task List or Task, but also the start date since that would give you the capabilities to actually state that a specific task should take: X or Y days or should be done in conjunction with or after another Task List or Task. Currently all tasks start on day 0, so there is no way to gauge how long a task should take, or is scheduled to take in your project.

One of the cool features of the current design is the ability to drag the end date of a task from the Show Timeline For area. What would also be really useful and could be done in conjunction with the above is:
1) to be able to add Task List and Tasks directly from the Show Timeline For window. (Currently we can modify the current Task List and the Tasks within the list)
2) be able to re-sort the Task Lists and Tasks from Show Timeline For, like we can directly in the project blog
3) then be able to select the start time, such as start at end of previous Task List or Task etc.
#1 and 2 seem like they could be done pretty easily since this functionality is already available in the other windows. #3 is more of a substantial change I suspect

Last request somewhat related to Task List: Have the ability to assign a Task List to a person and that would then make that person the default Responsible For in each of the Tasks. This would just save selecting the responsible for for each task if we have a long list, or if you forget (not that I’ve ever done that and wondered where my task went - hehe!!!)

Would anyone else find these features useful?
Any other ideas for this area of Solve?

I would love to have the option of having a navigation bar at the top of the screen instead of needing to use the sub-navigation under “workspace.“ I know the design is cleaner without a navigation bar, but it would make getting around *much* easier for me.

I see you already have integration with Constant Contact. I’d love to see integration with MailChimp.

I’ve been an Aweber user for 7 years and am now switching to MailChimp not only because of its massive feature set and incredible reporting, but because it integrates with other solutions I use such as FreshBooks (already saw the comment about working on integration) and OutRight (accounting).

One thing to keep in mind, after an extensive test with MailChimp, I like it enough that I’m willing to give up the excellent one-on-one phone support from Aweber for the feature set, flexibility, power and integration with MailChimp - who has no phone support at all. Think that says something.
