Best Forum…Ever!

Hey Guys, not looking to score any brownie points here but I just wanted to reach out and say after being with you for years it never ceases to amaze me how well run this forum is. It’s amazing how prompt and helpful all the staff is (users too) and like with any forum we see people post uncomplimentary jabs from time to time, but I find that those typically seem unwarranted, impatient or that the user simply has a separate agenda. So I just wanted to give you guys props and express my appreciation for what I feel is quite simply the best managed customer service forum/community I have ever used - thanks for all you do! :)

Solve360 infrastructure upgrades

Our contracted client base has grown 510% in the last 12 months. If you’ve been a part of that story THANK YOU! Solve360 is mission critical to our clients and we are taking steps to ensure we continue to provide the service you’ve come to expect…

We’ve hosted from the same facility for seven years and it’s served us very well. But there’s better now and our integrations with Google’s services create a new and important dynamic. Over the last 10 months we’ve conducted an extensive search for the ideal facility. We quickly called BS on the marketing material, instead running 1,000s of representative tests to identify the gems, conducted site visits, interviewed staff and checked references.

The contracts are signed and new equipment is ready in boxes.

Our new home is a SAS 70 Type II certified facility where we’ll be leveraging nine Tier-1 Internet providers, and rumor has it “you know who” happens to hosts a few thousand servers there too. What’s special here is the Internet connectivity – our requirement demanded special technology to ensure the fastest connections to you, and Google’s servers.

A migration like this is no easy task. In fact it’s often harder than engineers think. We’re dialing that into our plans. We’re confident it will go as expected and are excited about the new speed and opportunities this creates.

We expect the migration will happen over the next 3-6 weeks. We’re not in a specific rush, we’ll be diligent and take steps to minimize the interruption in service. We’ll communicate any events that you need to know about as they become known.

Love the Solve360 Gmail Contextual Gadget but wish you could turn if off for some users?

Well now you can using recent improvements Google has made.

In your Google Apps Control Panel create a sub-organization to contain the users that you want to turn off the Solve360 gmail contextual gadget for. Or do the opposite and create a sub-organizaiton for the users you only want to turn it on for.

What’s new is that you can now turn on and off Marketplace Apps by sub-organization instead of only for the entire Google Apps Account.

This will be particularly awesome for the large customer’s we have on Solve360 and Google Apps.

I’ve attached a screen shot from our own Google Apps account and here’s the Google Developer Blog posting on the topic: http://googleappsdeveloper.blogspot.com/2011/10/service-onoff-now-for-all-apps.html

Certainly contact us at http://www.interlockit.com if you need some assistance.

Bantam Live conversion to Solve360

As many of you know Bantam Live was recently acquired by Constant Contact.
http://www.constantcontact.com/about-constant-contact/bl/bli.jsp
It appears that many (if not all) the Bantam customers will be without a CRM/PM system for a while. Converting their data from Bantam to a new system seems to be on the minds of many Bamtam refugees. Norada is currently aware of the situation and looking for ways to help. First thing we would like to do is get a feel how many Bantam customer would be interested in switching to Solve360 and who they are. Please identify yourselves by contacting customercare (at) norada (dot) com, with the words “Bantam Live Refugee” in the title. Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you.
