New features

You now have access to all of your contact history and project data while on the move via your iPhone, Droid and some Blackberry devices.  We’ve delivered a major update to the mobile application interface and the most notable change is you can now manage activities and review linked-emails directly from the contact, company and project blog pages.  To access the mobile application interface just open the browser on your device and go to http://norada.com and login to your account.

How cool would it be to prepare estimates, invoices and see a how much your client owes you right from within Solve360?  Well now you can with our new integration with Freshbooks.  A separate post and fancy how-to video is on the way.

Some improvements

We’ve made about 40 minor improvements across the system in this update.  Chances are if you recently made a suggestion, or reported a minor bug, it was addressed today.

When you change the sort order from “Placed order” to “Date” on contact, company and project blog pages emails are now intermixed with the other activities in chronological order to show the activity history as it happened.  Previously all emails were displayed within a single linked-emails container.

We’ve worked-around an issue when printing from Google Chrome.

The search results list in the contact and project blog windows can now switch between the horizontal and vertical layout almost instantly.  In the horizontal layout fields now do a better job of remembering how wide you want each one to be.

We’ve added support for more unusual variants of email messages and attachments i.e. resolved some rare issues when opening and forwarding some types of attachments, forwarding messages to Mac email clients, etc.

When listing activities by “Date” sort order on the project blog page the date the parent activity was created/updated is now shown on the right side of the screen.

PS: You can ensure you’re running the latest version of Solve360 by clearing your browser’s cached files and restarting the browser.

Steve,

Great job with the Mobile app.  Those changes moved the mobile app from a nice way to view a phone number, to an indispensable tool for our mobile users.

Regarding the new Freshbooks integration, just wondering if there are plans for tighter integration in the future (eg Solve360 time records sync with Freshbooks time tracking, etc)?

We would also like to see some linking of the time tracking in Solve360, into the Time Tracking in Freshbooks… is there any updates by chance?

Also, another feature would be some linking between projects and estimates…
For example, if an estimate is created in Freshbooks, once it is accepted it is possible to turn it into a Project in Freshbooks and Solve360 (both would be ideal), and perhaps even take it as far as turning the billable tasks in the Freshbooks estimate into a task list in Solve360?

That would be some cool integration!

@TM Solutions More integration is planned but nothing has been announced.  Thanks for the ideas smile
