Data Forms

I have been working with customizing the form fields for contacts and companies.  A As imagine they are from most, these records are a mixture of customers, partners, vendors, etc. and it would be great to allow custom form fields to be assigned accordingly. I would love the ability to either -

1. add tag-specific form fields.
or
2. add a template of form fields to the activity stream in contact, company or project blog.

I’ve seen similar features with other small business CRM’s, but they don’t have the breadth of functionality offered by S360.

Thanks!

I reviewed a very nice CRM called Batchblue a while back that had something they called supertags http://www.batchblue.com/product-info.html#3. I believe this is what you are asking for and it’s a brilliant request!

Most of us have customers, talent, vendors, partners, etc. As a clarifying example I have a large multi-choice custom field which allows one to tick off all the skills an employee has. I’d MUCH rather this huge field not even show up if this is not a record tagged as ‘Talent’

Add my vote.

This is a function we desperately need.  Why is it only possible to create one type of project blog when there are so many types of projects that we work on?  Is this an update that is in the Solve360 pipeline, because it is critical to whether we decide to use the software.

I agree it would be nice but this is probably not trivial to implement.

We are now testing a new feature lets you to relate fields to category tags i.e. when you add a tag it will dynamically extend the set of fields for the contact, company, project blog.  If you’d like to help us test this new feature just reach out to our support team and they’ll hook you up.
