Larger Preview pane for emails

THIS IS HUGE!! Please provide a larger preview pane for emails. I cant see any reason why there wouldn’t be at least 8-10 lines of preview. The 360 preview currently is made up of forwarding info and by the end of the preview line you still have not seen any of the body of the email. If there are 5 or 6(or more) emails there currently is no way of determining which relevant info is in which email without opening them all. Here is a sample of my current CRM preview pane. You can see that it eventually cuts off (Read More…) but we get the gist of the email and, in most cases all of the info that is relevant:

  “*  Thursday, May 13
  * Email via Stormer Y.
  * Email Subject: Mail piece 2 of 2

  This showed up just after I sent my last email. It is as I expected. Please notice on the attached report, just above the image of the barcode, there is a “Barcode Location” that states that the barcode is out of the address block read area on the right. This basically means that it is too close to the right edge. As I mentioned in my earlier email, if you can move the vertical bar over to the left no less than ½” (half inch) we should be good for the bar code placement. Also, regarding the return address, Tom noted in an earlier email “The return address should be 250 H St Blaine WA

  Read more… “

Since we live off of our project reports, we need this information easily available and readable. We print off these reports if we win the deal or if our Production department requires a chronology. Having the first line of an email doesn’t cut it.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I see your point.

On the flip-side if you have many emails (100s is not uncommon) you end up having a page much larger than most people want to see.

If you click on “Date” order more email information is shown than in “Placed order”.

I understand the “at-a-glace” point, but for completeness I’ll mention that there is also the option to click on the email message to preview it - then navigating to older or newer messages in the list.

Thanks for the Date/Placed Order option. Was not aware of that. Certainly helps somewhat. I would suggest that maybe add only one more line in the date option if possible. If I have forwarded an email to 360, all of the first line and a good portion of the 2nd line is used up with address info etc and very little of the actual message is available for viewing or printing. Anyone that doesn’t need the larger preview pane, keep it on Place Order.

OK now I’m a little confused….I am now getting 4 lines per email for a preview pane, which is sweet. For others, however, I was only getting 2 lines. I am very happy with 4. Just not sure why 2 on some and 4 lines on others.

Ok, I don’t see the date order button. Are we talking about the web client here or the email logs activity?

Please share!
