Ability to sort the Activities view in ascending and descending order

Jun 13, 2010 10:32am Ronald Lyncean 258 posts	Hi, I don’t know if this is already implemented as I couldn’t get it to work, but it would be nice to have the ability to sort the Activities view in ascending and descending order for time, date, name, etc…. The example I can use to describe this is the opportunities view of the Activities Dashboard. It sorts from oldest activity first down to most recent. It would be great to have it sort in the reverse order, for example. Being able to sort by opportunity name, contact name, sales stage, by clicking the header row, just it it’s possible in contact vertical view, would be great. Any way this can be put in? Within “next actions assigned to” if I click on the column headed “date” it seems only to sort by date order within each week, leaving the weeks in the same order. I am expecting that by clicking on date, all “actions assigned to” are listed in descending order of date, with those without a due-date at the bottom. Then by clicking date again, it should reverse the list. Can I also confirm that the date column is the date the “actions assigned” are due rather than when they were created. This could cause confusion.
