Vancouver, Canada Solve Usergroup meeting

Hi there everyone,

I’ve been using Solve360 for about 2-3 weeks now. It’s great, I love it. There are parts of it that are great, with better functionality than other similar CRM’s. There are also parts of it that need a lot of work, where I’ve seen other CRM’s outperform Solve360.

The one thing that gives me confidence in Solve is that Steve and team are planning major updates to Solve to make it better, just waiting to see what updates they role out on a continual basis.

Most people here cite the flexibility of the program and it’s speed/ease of use to be the best feature of this (I also cite the Gmail integration personally). Yes, it would be nice if it was EVEN FASTER (it bogs down when the Solve server get busy or there’s high internet usage in my area, or something).

Thus, I’m interested in hosting Solve360 usergroups in Vancouver, Canada.

Vancouver is one of Canada’s high tech and early adopter cities. Cloud computing is starting to catch on here with the general business community, but there are already people who who have gone deep into it. Trivial fact, both Maximizer and Sage (ACT! CRM) have main offices here.

I happen to run a large business networking group in the city and I know the situation for SME/entrepreneurs very well, I constantly hear about their struggles. Ironically, MOST SME’s here do not use any form of CRM, they can’t be bothered as it used to be so much work (learning curve) and expense, and they don’t know about the new web 2.0 CRMs, like Solve.

I have mentioned Solve to a few people and they are definitely interested because of its features. We’ve been talking about my setting them up, as I’m good at helping them adapt what they do to be able to use Solve in their business -i.e. design procedures and workflows, as these people have different scenarios and I can tailor-make their Solve workflow (not bad since I’m a recent user myself, hence why I’ve been testing various functions and asking questions on the forum).

So I’m open to meeting other Solve users to talk about how you’re using it in your business.

At the moment there are ACT!, Maximizer, and Batchbook (a Solve360 competitor, which is gaining momentum here…may push out Solve in fact) user group meetings that I know of and there are probably more that I am not aware of.

If you are an experienced Solve user and are interested in meeting, then I’d be happy to accommodate. Just email me. Would love to have enough people here so we can have formal meetings.

Best,

Ronald Lee

Hey Ronald,

There are a few reasons why I’d like to make it out to Vancouver; this could be another.  July is not ideal (that’s expected to be “summer” in Calgary), but depending on the day it might work.  Perhaps email me a couple of dates you’re thinking about and lets make it happen.  Perhaps we could get a few of our clients from the area to pop-in too to share their experiences.

Here’s what I’m thinking. Just tell me a ballpark period of time you’ll be in Vancouver (can even be several times a year).

I’ll set you up with two audiences for two events. One is a panel discussion about Cloud Computer or the new 2.0 CRM’s or something of that nature, along with other experts.

And I’ll also set up a Norada/Solve360 intro/info/demo session where you can promo Solve360 to people.

At this point I only know of myself and the other Vancouverite on this forum that use it (that’s only TWO people, no one else in the city knows about Solve - figuratively speaking). I think people will like Solve360, thus the more education based marketing to large groups you do, the more ‘instant’ customers you get.

Say you convert 30% or more to do the trial. A large percentage will convert to users. And the best part is….they will tell other people which is what you want, that is why you want to make the personal appearance, why you want to get a core group of users to love the program and feel supported, why you want to get them excited that Solve can be their best solution.

Ideal would be to actually market it prior to your talks and the emails you send out to trial customers could be handy there.

What would be missing is ongoing promotion, as that is really necessary, not just in Vancouver, but in any new product/service offering, including/especially hi-tech/internet.

The core group of evangelists is that you are after (in every city Steve, *hint*hint*). That, plus ongoing promotion over the next two years, as Cloud becomes more and more utilized, will exponentially blow Solve up.

When you come, you better bring me some fine cheeses and a few bottles of ice wine.

Steve’s going to be having too much fun at Stampede. Either that or shoveling his driveway if they get another freak snow dump like they did in MAY!

That’s what I thought. Hey, I’D BE at the Stampede in Calgary if I could make it.

Either than or the rumor that he is downing protein shakes, egg whites and training every day for his bodybuilding competition is true.
