Duplicate Contact or Company to new record

Jul 04, 2010 06:01pm craig4wd Lyncean 40 posts	Before I start, really happy I made the decision to use Solve, it’s the only online CRM that I’ve seen that actually feels like an app. Anyway, it would be very useful to have a duplicate contact or duplicate company to contact button. We are currently working through a bunch of old contacts that are in a whole lot of different formats so it would be useful one I’ve added a company in to be able to use that info to copy it to the contact info so I can simply add the contact name and have the rest populated from the company data.

Jul 04, 2010 06:24pm Engineering SpecialOps Administrator 3952 posts	That’s GREAT to hear What information are you copying? Why not leave the common data at the company level and hover over the company name when you need it?

Jul 04, 2010 06:30pm craig4wd Lyncean 40 posts	We tried that, it was clunky and if we export contacts as companies we don’t get their tags so we decided best practice was to have correctly populated data in both company and contact.
