When a blog has been completed, it would be great if it could be stored somewhere? I know there are possible plans for a File system…any ETA?

Do you just want it removed from sight i.e. archived or some other purpose? If so you can do something like this now by adding a category called “Active” then in the command bar choose “Show Active…“ We do plan to add an “Archive” feature that would simply push a contact/blog out of the standard views; to reopen it you would use a “Show Archives” etc. The idea is you can leave it where it is. The list is essentially the “filing system” and the command bar lets you search through it. We have customers with hundreds, thousands, in fact some over 10,000 and they are all managed this way. Other that your own preferences there is no technical reason to move them. There are no plans for a file system in the traditional sense. We are particularly avoiding using any type of hierarchy because it is not the best way to organize information (users have difficultly finding items after saving them). Instead we are using search (al a google culture), simple lists and categories to organize “super class” items like contacts and blogs, then attaching items directly to the page for context and relevance. Note there is a conversation regarding storing items which are not linked to a contact/blog at http://norada.com/forums/viewreply/547/ |
