Next Actions Assigned Picks Up Templates

A niggly point.
I’ve run a “next actions assigned to” query in the activities dashboard and selected “assigned to - anyone”.  This allows me to make sure that tasks have had someone assigned to them.
However this search also picks up tasks that are stored as templates which is distracting.  Can it be fixed?
On further review, this action also picks up archived projects.
Would it be possible to be able to select some more columns in the results pane?  That way I could see that a project was archived.

I’m not sure what you mean by “it picks up tasks that are stored as templates”... you mean stored templates which aren’t displayed on any contact/project, or templates which have been used on contacts/projects (causing a lot of stuff to be displayed)?

The former - ie stored templates that are not displayed on any contact/project.  I don’t want to make a big thing of this, but getting it right just adds credibility to the way our quality processes use the templates.

Hi Carl, I have not been able to reproduce this. Only the instances of the template tasks seem to show up. Once they are erased they are not showing the the report, but they are still available in the template. Can you make sure that the tasks are not indeed instances of the template? Perhaps by changing some values from inside the report, then applying the template and see if the changes carry through?
