You can change who is the administrator is (one click) with no consequence i.e. do it as often as you need, but there can only be one at a time.  The Administrator has access to special features that are typically not used that often (changing categories, changing form settings, managing users, groups, exporting all data, billing).

History with our previous product (that did allow multiple administrators) taught us that it’s always best to only have one hand in the cookie jar…. a coordinator / go to person if you will.

This is a feature we would really like as well. I have different people that work on different areas on the program and I’m not always around to be able to switch Administrator rights. Having a group of people that could all be Administrators would be a huge help and much more efficient than swapping account rights all the time.

A current workaround is to create a separate account for this role and share the login.

I thought of that one already, but then there’s no way of seeing who actually made a change (for instance, if three of us share the Admin user and one of us adds a task to a contact, we won’t know which one of us actually added that task, as it will just log the administrator user ID, which is shared).

Just a feature request… the work around is okay for now, but having the ability to add multiple administrators would be helpful, even if we had to sign a disclaimer accepting the risk that is inherent with multiple people making changes simultaneously.
