State of Hide Form/Show Form toggle

Oct 14, 2008 11:18pm peterlkelley Lyncean 66 posts	Tiny minor annoyance department: After changing values in Select Boxes, I return to the Contact. The new values don’t appear in my pulldown menu yet, so I hit the Refresh button to go fetch them. (Sometimes they don’t appear even then, but that’s the topic of my separate post.) However, hitting Refresh also toggles the Hide Form button, so every time I hit Refresh, I next have to go up and click Show Form again to get back to what I was doing. Could hitting the Refresh button leave unchanged the state of the Hide/Show Form button? Thanks for your replies, you guys are incredibly fast and I can tell you’re poring over these little issues just as much as we users are.

Oct 14, 2008 11:33pm Engineering SpecialOps Administrator 3948 posts	Actually we recently added the Refresh option and plan to come back and take care of some minor state situations like you pointed out. Maintaining form state is currently on the list (as a low priority item). Thanks for pointing it out though, you’ll never know unless you ask. BTW did we mention you’re looking at a web page

Oct 15, 2008 12:22pm peterlkelley Lyncean 66 posts	In addition to maintaining form state through a Refresh, can you maintain form state through a click on the next record under Vertical? After an Import, I’m going through and cleaning up issues, selecting the right values in new dropdown fields, etc. Each time I click to the left, to select the next record, I then need to click up above, on “Show Form.“ With my 2,500 contacts plus others’ many additional ones, that’s a lot of extra clicks.
