Email Broadcaster

Integration of an email broadcaster into Solve360 would be a great addition (unless I’ve missed something and it’s already on the way).

Even better if it offered click-tracking, ability for recipient to manage their preferences, and automatic flagging of email addresses that bounce.

As it is, we’ll likely be exporting lists from Solve360 to a Mac program called DirectMail, to run email broadcasts to large numbers of contacts at once (we often deal in lists of 1,000-2,000).

That app offers click-tracking at our end, although not self-management of email preferences by the recipient (a feature of higher-end systems like Constant Contact). Handling of bad addresses is manual under our existing system, as well.

Actually you’re heading in the right direction, our roadmap calls for:

1) Allow easy integration with mass-mailers via “export this list” (available now) and remote API to service providers e.g. constant contact is one we’ve been speaking with recently.  We won’t be providing “mass” emailing services through the Solve360 system.

2) Supporting the personalization and automation / workflow of email messages e.g. personalized forms/templates with autoresponders.  This is intended for running campaigns on an individual level to enhance the quality of the conversation with each client e.g. on first contact schedule a series of personalized email messages that are dispatched automatically at defined intervals etc.
