Feature request: Colours (Colors) In Tasks

Aug 20, 2010 02:58pm Carl Benfield Lyncean 165 posts	We’ve been having a chat about the allocation of colours (colors) in the task list. We’d like to use them, but we just know that any system will go haywire in a short time without clear and consistent guidance for our users. What we would really like to see is the ability to allocate colours to specific task types. Eg Customer complaint RED (don’t get many of those) Installation GREEN Internal Process BLUE When it comes to entering the task info, having this legend/key next to to colours would make it work beautifully. Any chance?

Aug 22, 2010 01:08am dave@vm Lyncean 727 posts	This is a fantastic idea and exactly why I use all the colours: for different stages of our process. So a BIG +1 from me on this. Great idea Carl My little work around is that I made a sheet with the colours and task types and taped it to my monitor until they are burned in my brain - pretty high tech I know. Also, having a few more colours would be great, and (selfish request) add them to the right of the existing tasks in colours since my process steps start with white and move to the right.
