Managing Permissions on an Employee Contact Record

I’m looking for any help or suggestions in this area. 

I’d like to setup each employee as a contact record.  I want to record confidential information that’s available to only the employee, manager, and HR. For example log a note that tracks salary history, upload employment docs, etc.

I’m struggling how to do this permission wise.  I don’t want a workgroup for every employee. Is there a better way to do this?

Hi Rob. It sounds to me like you are using Solve as your HR system. Is this the intent?

Not the primary intent but I’m trying it use it for everything I possibly can. Managing employees makes sense.

Hey Rob. It would probably work using a workgroup for every employee, but there are likely some drawbacks doing this that way. Solve360 is not really meant to be used as an HR system so I’m sure there is a “proper” way of achieving this.
