Assign entire task list

How do you assign an entire task list?

Once a lead is generated I assign it to a specific sales rep in the form fields and then insert a “sales cycle” template with many to-do’s in it.  In the template I leave the “assigned to” blank so that I can assign the tasks to a specific sales rep once that info is known.

So…how do I assign the entire task list to my sales rep?  Do I have to go into each task in the list and assign it individually?

Yes

It would be valuable to be able to assign every task in task list to one person as we all be able to automatically assign due dates off of a start date.  For example, to say task one’s assigned date is X + 5 days, task 2 is X + 10, etc.

Typically we assign a new client setup to a client relationship manager and the majority of the tasks get assigned to them (which has to be individually done right now).

I think I know the answer…...BUT, a milestone DOES NOT assign a due date to the tasks in the task list, does it? Do you have to individually assign each task in a list its own due date.  I have noticed that milestones show up on their due date in my “next actions assigned to” but the individual tasks show up as “due anytime”.

Would Norada consider adding more options under the Edit Task List options such as “add due date to entire List” and “assign entire list to:”

A tasklist’s milestone date does not relate to the due date of any of its tasks; it’s an independent option indented to be a “road sign” that relates to the objective of the overall tasklist.
