Scheduled Email Signatures / Default Signature

I’m currently a trial user and have some questions. I have multiple identities setup in the Webmail settings.

1) When scheduling an email and switching identities, the signature doesn’t seem to change. Is there something that I’m missing?

2) Is there an easy way of selecting/changing the default signature without having to copy and select the desired default signature into the top slot and re-adding that replaced one as a new signature?

3) At times I forget to change the identity prior to entering text into a webmail. Before I send I go up to change the identity but when it replaces the signature, it puts the signature on top and pushes the content down. Out of quickness, I accidentally sent out an email with the signature on top before realizing what had happened. Is this by design?

Thank you to whoever can fill me in on these items.

Thanks, we are looking into this.

That is how its done.

This is the design. Signatures are put to the top. What you are describing is more of a fringe case. Having the signature at the top makes more sense when replying or forwarding.

Thank you for your response, it’s helped me better understand some of the functionality.

As for item 3, let me clarify to see if we’re on the same page. I’ve attached a before-and-after visual to better explain. Basically let’s say I click “Create a message”, which then it loads a new window and places my default signature. I then type the body text and prior to sending I realize I need to change the identity. So I change the identity, at this time the old signature is removed and the new signature is actually placed on top of the body text instead of where the previous signature was.

Let me know if we’re talking about the same thing :) I’ve gotten so used to gotomeeting that my non-visual explanations have suffered.

Thanks for the visual (a bit confusing at first because part 1 is below part 2). This is how it’s supposed to work. Signatures are always inserted at the top. Gmail tried inserting them at the bottom but users didn’t like it cause most of the time when replying or forwarding email, the signature would end up below the original email and would never be seen. They have since seen the light. We are keeping it simple and always adding signatures at the top.
