to do list date

Hi,

I have a daily work blog template with a to do list.  I use the ‘add a milestone’ on the to do list in order to date the list.  Oddly, when I insert the template, the date is always one day behind.  I have tried inserting a random list at the same relative time and the date is correct.

It’s not a real problem to go in and change the date manually, but it just seems weird that the automatically inserted date is always a day behind.

any thoughts?

thanks!

thank you for the response.

I’m not sure.  When I post a comment on the blog, they are time stamped correctly (even if the to do list is incorrect).

Do you think there is something I could do when I log in prompt Solve 360 to find my location before I insert the template to see if that’s the problem?

thanks!

normally with these things it is best to send a direct support request to the s360 support team. They are really fast to respond. I think they are based in Canada so once business hours click in there you can expect a fast response time from them.

try changing the date on your template to the relative date you want, ie today, then resave your template.

try changing the date on your template to the relative date you want, ie today, then resave your template.

This is most likely the cause. When you last saved the template, you must have unknowingly had the milestone set at one day earlier. Since Activity Templates remember relative dates, every time you apply your templates, your milestones are set to “yesterday”.

I wanted to post an update:

Doing some trial and error, I’ve found that the key is the actual time when the template is created.

For example:

I create the template at 8:00am on day 1.  On day 2 if I insert the template at 8:01am everything is fine, however if I insert at 7:59am it will show as yesterday or still day 1.

Calendar day does not matter, but the actual time of creation relative to insertion.

Thanks for everyone’s help!
