Firefox or Chrome? What browser do you use?

I started out with using Firefox for Solve360 but since I like running it in fullscreen mode, didn’t like how Firefox still left a small bar on top. I then tried Chrome and was reasonably happy.

Then I found an extension to remove Firefox’s hover bar in fullscreen and have been testing Firefox and Chrome side-by-side trying to see which gives a snappier close-to-desktop experience with Solve360. It seems different parts of Solve360 are quicker for each browser.

I did try Opera which was overall really quick (ie. displaying new pages, creating items, drawing out forms, etc). But there seems to be a problem with Opera 10.6 displaying webmail in Solve360 (email message is blank below a certain point).

So what do you all use as the preferred fullscreen browser for Solve360 and any noticeable pros/cons?

I’m on a Windows 7 system btw.

Just to throw an interesting feature into the mix… if you’re on a PC have you tried Chrome’s “Application Shortcuts…” feature under the Page menu (top right of Chrome’s menu)?

Yes, this an excellent way to use Solve, and it gives you the most screen real estate
