The longer one uses a product, the more one recognizes what it does well. One also recognizes features that, with a little refinement, could make the product better. Sharing on the forum has provided me with all sorts of workarounds that I have incorporated into how we work with Solve. Some of the workarounds work so well that there is not need to refine those features any further. 90% of the time that has been the case.
In this case, for my requirements, it would be better to have an option for automated notifications. I am in no way saying that the notification option sucks. I am making as suggestion that it could possibly be improved. Creating a template for this process may be the answer (as has been the case in numerous other processes) and it was not an option that I had thought of until Dave mentioned it.
I believe that is what the forum is for. I have received (and provided) great advice and ideas from Dave and others on the forum. Most of these exchanges have had to do with existing features, things that Solve360 already does and because of these exchanges our company has 1. learned to use Sove360 much more efficiently and 2. we have become champions of the product.
If the only reason to log onto to forum was to focus on the “many things that Solve360 can’t do yet”, then not too many users would be logging on. Solve360 does most of what our company needs and it is the tweaking of the existing features that will make the product even better for us.
