Hitting the delete key on a field that’s not currently editable (such as because it’s in Hide Form state) is being treated as a Back command by the browser, in this case FireFox 3.03 for the Mac.
I do this at least once a session, and wind up back out at the log-in screen or sometimes dropping into the Forums from where I came. No big deal because I’m automatically logged back in and see my work where I left it, but it’s irritating.
Could Solve360 capture the “delete” keystroke before it gets to the browser and triggers a “back” command?
