Not surprisingly we have a lot of important information and moving parts to organize here at Norada.  In the early days of developing Solve360 our team rolled through documents, spreadsheets, wikis, Viso, paper napkins, whiteboards/smartboards, subversion, etc. - name it and we probably used it.

“Necessity is your Mamma…” definitely had a hand to play, we started using “Solve” to develop Solve360 the instant it could save a note.

I remember the moment I we started moving our data into it; quite honestly you could hear a *sigh of relief* from across the room. ONE spot for us to weave our ideas and code factory from.  So from about halfway along our development team re-focused on working from a set of key product focused project blogs.  Today I noticed our central “Development” project blog (I guess you could call it the “Solve360” project blog) has helped us manage 2,105 tall tasks (and still counting).

You guys do great work Steve! I know we are always asking for this and that on these forums and sometimes it may sound like borderline complaining (but I am sure you know more than anyone that it is really that so many of us are passionate about your terrific product). So with that being said I thought it was appropriate to take a breather from pounding you guys with requests and simply acknowledge the great work you and the crew do every day for all of us. Thanks!

Ditto, this post should be mandatory reading for all new Solvers. The fact that they used Solve (without all the awesome features we have now) to actually build the Solve that we have now, is amazing.

I also agree. Knowing that you ‘ate your own dog food’ in order to create this system is amazing. It really is. I’m a new user doing a deep dive and the journey has been phenomenal. I used to cringe at the thought of project management with other tools. Since testing Solve I told my boss that this was the solution we had to use and dedicated myself as the project manager. It’s been a breeze using 360 and I’m really enjoying it. A BIG Thank you to the Solve’360 team!

PS: I even use Solve now to manage my personal life. It’s great for managing friends, family etc… and keeping on top of everything and all the connections. Haven’t contacted a friend in a while? What was the last thing you talked about? How do we organize the holiday events? It’s all managed here… Maybe a market worth looking at…. I know that I’ll pay for this personally if I ever leave my current job. smile
