Follow up or task?

Please tell me when should something be “tasked” and when “followed up”? I have some activities I don’t really know how to input into S360.

Do you mean the activity called: ‘Schedule a Follow up’?

If so, I use that for any meetings, conference calls etc that are planned at a certain date. Then below it I use a formated note to log the meeting minutes.

Yeah I agree with Dave….“Schedule a follow-up” is just a long way to call something an “Event” or “Meeting”. It has a specific date and time and it will show up on the calendar. Unfortunately in the drop down there is no simple way to create an individual task…you have to create a task list. I’m hoping the Solve crew will make a more traditional “task” (that doesn’t require a task list) so you can simply click the drop down a pick “task” and then title it whatever you want (call, to-do, email, etc). Something that has an optional due date, but does not have to be time specific and rolls over if each day until complete….But for now you have to use the task list or schedule a follow-up.
