Color Labels

Does anyone have any creative uses for the color labels?  I haven’t found exactly what they are for other than just organization within a task or event list.  They do not seem to have a search parameter…

I guess I’m just looking for some good uses! Ideas?

Hi Chip, Color labels are used to differentiate items so they stand out from the rest of page.  Generally they are helpful when trying to emphasize relationships between items or indicate a non-obvious priority/order in lists.

They may mean something different to each client and context in which they are used.

We use them here to indicate the priority of a task and if an event is onsite, offsite or with a client.

I must have missed a memo (or two) . . . .

What ARE color labels?

and while we are at it, what is the purpose/benefit of auto reload feature in tags?

When editing Events and Tasks you should see 4 colored boxes that you can click on to set a color on the item when it is displayed.  People have found them so useful that we’ll be adding more.  Have a favorite (color)?

Where do you see ‘auto reload’?

Aha!  THOSE colored labels - had forgotten about them.

As for the reload .... Change Tags screen / right click on a tag and there are several options for reload . . .

What’s up?

The options offered by a right-click in that panel are native to the browser and not a function within application itself.  Choosing Reload will essentially reload the web page the application is running on.
