Today we introduced a simple but extremely useful report that lists activities saved anywhere in the system. It answers questions like “how many calls were made last week”, “what’s happening in all of our Acquisition projects”, “what tasks were completed while I was away”, etc. The report provides a simple way to filter by:
- Type of activity (call logs, events, notes, tasks, opportunities)
- Last change type (created, modified, and when only the task type is selected also completed)
- Person or group that made the change
- Date range
- Items to search (contacts, companies, project blogs – and all related category tags!)
A nice touch is when choosing modified as a search type the report will also show any comments that were added to the individual activities.
This report shows the latest state of each activity which differs from the “Show recent activity” report which shows a log of actions that occurred over time.
To access this new report simply click Workspace > Activities Dashboard “Show activity list …”.
