Photo Preview Zoom or Thumbnail Size Selection

We are using the blogs for photo intensive work right now and

they are working great for this purpose. The one thing we wish

we could do is be able to preview a photo easier as the

thumbnails are a bit too small to use for a quick preview.

Right now one has to click on a picture, choose open, wait for

it to download locally (if it is big) then view it.

It would be great if you could add some sort of magnify on hover

feature to the blogs.  I have seen this on many sites. Here is

an example from one of the stock photo sites we use.

When you hover over the little magnifying glass in each

thumbnail the photo enlarges and descriptive info is available

as well. It would also increase our productivity if we could see

the size of each photo thus helping in choosing the correct

resolution.

Another option might be to let us select different sizes of

thumbnails from small to large to be displayed on the blog.

Are these features that could be arriving soon?  Please:)

We agree that enhancing the photo preview through a dynamic lightbox would be a great feature.  Thanks for the tip.

Is there any way to turn off the dynamic Zooming feature or enable it with a key stroke and hover?

I’m finding it distracting that every time I accidentally hover over and image a large version of that image zooms in.  I have to wait for it to zoom out or click outside of the image.

Thanks.

Yeah I think it would be more comfortable with single-click.  We’ll give that a try.  Thanks for the tip.
