Am I missing something?

I can’t seem to figure out how to import or export information to 360.  Is there an easy way to merge contact info with a document - mailing labels, for instance, or a contract or invoice?  What kind of reports are available on the information in the projects and CRMs?  It’s not yet clear to me how to get info back out from 360 in order to make use of it!  Help!!

Yes you can do both.  In the toolbar at the top of the Contacts, Project Blogs and Activity Dashboard windows, you will find an option called Data where has an option to export the current report / list into a CSV file.  From there you can open the exported information in Excel to complete mail-merges and custom reports.  In the Contacts window there in another option under Data which provides a feature to import contacts from various formats.  We will also be releasing a generic CSV format with field mapping support in the next few days.

There are a few reports you might find useful under Workspace > Activity Dashboard.  Specifically “Show next actions” and “Show activity list…”.

I am only getting the first line of the mailing address coming out on the export that I need to print mailing labels although the full address shows properly on the contact record.

Am I doing something wrong or does it need to be added?

Thanks

If you are using our standard address fields addresses are output in a single cell with multiple lines.  If you make the rows higher do you see the additional address data?

This is from the standard Business Address field.  There does not appear to be anything beyond the first line included in the csv export so I’m missing the 2nd line, City, Province, PC etc.

All of the address information is saved in a single field so if a part of it shows all should be there and you should be able to see it if you expand the row height.  I just did a test here and the single field, with multiple lines did export as expected.  Can you send us an email with the specifics of your account (email address and contact you are looking at) and we’ll be happy to look into this example.

I think I’ve got it.  It seems as if you include the rest of the address on a seperate line on the form it is not included in the export.  This isn’t a problem but I do have to reformat the address once it is in a label program to get a nicely typed mailing label.

Any thought on including something like Mailing Label export that includes the person’s name, title and address formatted on individual lines?

The other lines on the form should also be exported as fields (perhaps not obvious depending on the field’s name).  Actually, we expect that this export should provide everything to do a mail merge.  The address should also be exported in the form it was entered so hopefully not much reformatting is needed.
