Hi, quick question:
Can I change my domain that I send emails to.  Currently it is .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  I’d like it to be .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

I know, kinda minor but thought it worth asking.

Thanks, Stephen

Yes, you can change the dropbox email address.

Click Workspace > Set Security Workgroups, double-click in the Group name field, change the value, click off the field to save the change then the dropbox email address should change.  Give our systems a couple minutes to sync the change throughout our network then give it a try.

When I make the change to the group name, the dropbox email does not change (at least the portion after the “@”.

Sorry, my bad, I should have caught that you were trying to change the second part of the address.  You can change the first part of the email address yourself using the instructions I provided, but the second part represents your organization name that was specified when you signed up. We can change that here for you.  Which I’ve done.  Please relogin to your account and confirm everything is as you need it.

We are in the process of changing our Company name and while Google is forcing us to keep the Google App ‘main’ domain the same, we are planning to add the new company name domain as a secondary domain in Google Apps and then migrate all emails etc to the new ‘organization’ on Google Apps and simply leave the old ‘organization’ there but not use it.

However, our Solve account is tied to the main organization I assume, so if we make this change can it be somewhat transparent on the Solve system?

Current organization: colbethgroup.com
New/sub organization: lifepointre.com

While we don’t have to delete or get rid of the current organization, we likely will never use it again and I don’t want to pay for it to be maintained.

What do you suggest?

We can do a domain switcheroo:

1) You request us to remove the link to your old domain

Just send us an email when you are ready.

2) You then change each user’s email address to match the new domain

Follow: Workspace > Modify User Accounts and update each email address by double-clicking on the e-mail address and updating them

3) You would then have to log in as the domain admin from the new Google Apps domain and re-establish the link to your Solve360account

To do this, Look up Solve360 in Google’s Marketplace. Then click “add it now” and then enter your new Google Apps domain.
