We’ve found that almost all browser related issues are resolved or isolated by following these two steps:
1) Delete the browser’s temporary file cache
- Firefox: click Tools, Clear recent history, choose only the option “cache”, Clear Now
- Safari: click Edit, Empty Cache, Empty
- Google Chrome: Tools, Options, Personal Stuff, Clear Browsing Data, Empty the cache
- Internet Explorer: click Tools, Internet Options, Delete, Delete Files, Yes
Then restart the browser and re-login
2) Disable any installed Add-ons
First close any existing browser sessions down then:
- Firefox: on Windows click Start > Run > firefox -safe-mode (OK)
- Internet Explorer: click Start > Run > iexplore -extoff (OK)
- Google Chrome: does yet not offer the similar feature. But, if you use Chrome in incognito mode, you can temporarily disable all installed extensions easily. To open a Chrome window in incognito mode, use the command Ctrl + Shift + N.
