Is there any work being done on integrating either Freshbooks or Harvest with Solve? I’m looking at various CRM, PM & billing apps at the moment for my small business and Solve would suit us fine for the first 2, but I’d need it to work with FB or Harvest too. And if there is work going on, what sort of time scale are we looking at before it’s announced as ready?
Freshbooks / Harvest integration?

Norada and Freshbooks are members of http://thesmallbusinessweb.com/ which advocates “increasing integration to our products and services will benefit all of our customers”. We do intend to hook-up with FB (we both have comprehensive APIs ready to go) but I don’t have anything specific to announce currently. |
ASAP get that going…Thanks! |

Easy to implement and works great - well done ! Minor quibble - would be sweet to directly populate a new account in Freshbooks from the contact fields in Solve |

Hi Chris, Thanks for the positive feedback - “easy” is a word we love to hear. I’m surprised others haven’t mentioned that point yet. Some background… It was actually a careful decision on our part not to sync fields it in the first release. We allow the Freshbooks “widget” to be placed in different contexts—contacts, companies and project blogs. There is no general rule to mapping fields from one system to another. We felt we could return to refine this later and that although the perceived value is toward “syncing” fields of data, we believe the real value is being able to have more control / insight into what’s actually happening with the account. A copy paste is a small price to pay for that and you’ll “get it right” every time instead of Solve guessing (often the billing entity is different than the person you’re working with). |

“although the perceived value is toward “syncing” fields of data, we believe the real value is being able to have more control / insight into what’s actually happening with the account. “ I totally agree with this call |
