Website in Workspace

Hello,

Would it be possible to add an add-on which makes it possible to add a workspace, which shows a website hosted outside norada.com?

For instance, there could be a place where you can add a “Website” workspace. When adding a “website” workspace you can enter a name and an url. When the workspace is started, the worspace loads the entered url.

If this would be possible, we can use Solve’360 in Full Screen and access other SaaS solutions threw a workspace.

I got the idea when I saw the posting about embedding documents to a note: http://tinyurl.com/oouyre

It sounds like you want to add items to the Workspace menu that would open in a workspace window?  That’s an interesting tip.

Since Solve remembers the state of all windows between sessions you can simulate the following now by adding a website link to a page e.g. a general project blog, open the site in a workspace window and it will stay like that until you close it.

Yes, a workspace in which another website can be viewed. For instants Gmail. Than you run Solve’360 in fullscreen mode and switch to another SaaS solution by just selecting the workspace. In the settings of that particular workspace you can select which url should be loaded for that workspace.

Maybe you can integrate it in the Email ad-on as well. When people select Gmail, the url mail.google.com gets loaded in the Email workspace. I think most people are using Gmail for it’s web web interface and functionalities, not because they want to use IMAP.
