task creation

love the new feature of being able to swap tasks between task lists.

effectively I brain-dump into one generic task-list and then rearrange into appropriate specific lists after i’ve gotten it all out of my head.

I’d love it if I could do this quicker, minimizing the clicks - as it stands it’s, add a task -> fill in info -> click outside blue border -> repeat.

be great if it were ->add task -> fill in info -> “tab” or “add another task” without having to click anywhere.

more minor minor grips as usual from me!

next time you should ask that it be handled by Augmented Reality - hehe

I would like to see a tabular task list option with repeating rows. Simply add your task field data, hit a plus icon, add new row, add new data, repeat. This type of tabular repeating function could easily be adapted for events and appointments.

Later on, as more information becomes available, you can open the task in the ‘long form’ and add details and updates.

You kind of can do what you are asking for. Instead of just clicking anywhere outside the blue border, just click directly on the “add task” link by the title. It saves your current task and automatically opens a new one.

I was doing the same thing clicking outside the border, then I tried it and it worked.

@ PrintGiant: Congrats on your suggestion, you are completely correct. It works! I was always clicking outside the blue box like Adrian, then clicking Add Task.
Thanks!
