Link Activity between Contact or Company and Project Blog

Jan 11, 2010 08:46pm Steee New Member 1 post	Hi. Let’s say I have an project blog I have to share with people internally but also external people, let’s say Sales Agents. I don’t want to share with them all contact information and also I don’t want to add to many workgroups. Here is the problem: I put in a new Activity, let’s say an “Track Revenue Opportunity” or “Schedule a meeting”. Here should be a link “related to” between Company/Contact and Project Blog. Otherwise, if I put it into Contacts/Company - I cannot really share it with external partners. If I put it on the project blog, I cannot find that information on my Contact/Company overview. Maybe a simple “Related to” in the box would help! Thanks

This is an important concept that deserves a well conceived solution. We’re still taking notes and evaluating different ways to fulfill the needs.

Aug 31, 2011 03:41pm Engineering SpecialOps Administrator 4123 posts	There is a “related to” field in both Contact and Projects which lets you link create a 2 way link between records contained in the same workgroup. You can also let activities from “related” records spill over into each other with the “Show related activities” checkbox.
