any chance we could have a search box in the Activities window?
this could allow us to only ‘filter’ activities related to a certain company for example

Are you referring to Workspace > Activities Dashboard > Show activity changes for?

I hadn’t though of that location, but I guess a search box for all activities might make sense, maybe?

Sorry I should have been more specific:

Activities Dashboard -> Next Actions Assigned To

Right now tasks are only sorted chronologically which certainly makes sense. But it could also make sense to only be able to look at tasks only for a specific project or company or contact. You may have lots of tasks spread out over many many weeks, mixed up with all the others, so this could give you a road map view, in addition to just being able to sit down (by yourself or with you team) and say: OK, regardless of every other task for other contacts/projects that we have to do, what do we need to do for this one. Then just git ‘er done!

I suppose in hindsight this would build on the ability to sort that I posted here, but maybe a search box is easier or more effective?
(I guess I just keep thinking about it!!!)

Thanks for clarifying.  We agree additional filtering options would be quite useful.

I would like to add my support for this facility.
We have created a number of activity templates for the project blog window.  These templates are essentially our internal business processes - we really like doing this in Solve because a process is no longer a dusty flow chart in a folder somewhere, but an active document that can be tailored and actioned on-screen, with the ability to assigned responsibilities and record actions.  So far so good.
One of our activity templates (aka processes) is for Customer Complaint (not often used).  It would be great if, in the activities dashboard, we could search all “next actions assigned to” “anyone”  and have a search term for “complaint”.  We can then immediately see what complaints are still active and require attention - something we need to be able to do for our quality standard.
Perhaps there is another solution?
