Storage Limit Notice

Feb 24, 2010 04:16pm DowntownBoulder Enthusiast 12 posts	We had a user who couldn’t send attachments with their emails and it took a while to realize it was because he was over his storage limit, perhaps you could include a feature like the old solve 360 where the welcome screen displayed how much space a user was using. Feb 25, 2010 09:35am Engineering SpecialOps Administrator 1982 posts	Some “special handling” is needed to report email account storage use now that activation of the Webmail client is optional and the feature supports external email providers. We’ll get it in though; thanks for the tip.

Mar 25, 2010 12:16pm shums Aficionado 16 posts	so do forwarded emails to count for the storage limit? is it possible to monitor the storage and delete the older emails automatically?

Mar 25, 2010 04:14pm Engineering SpecialOps Administrator 1982 posts	Email messages saved in the dropbox are included in the overall storage quota for the account. By activating the Webmail client you can access these folders directly to remove any messages you don’t want. Currently the storage used is not reported in the interface. We don’t have a feature to delete messages automatically.
