Contacts assigned to a workgroup memeber don’t show

I just added my first associate…took the leap from solo to team status. I’ve been using Solve360 for about a year on my own, so I’m pretty comfortable with the general strategy.

But I’m not sure what I’m missing with my new person. I created a workgroup for her a gave her permissions and when I assign a contact to “shared with so and so”, then when I filter contacts to show only those “assigned to” my new person, there is nothing that shows.

I thought it might just be a rendering issue, so I waited a couple of hours, but still nothing.

Based on the description I think you might be touching on two really different concepts - “assigned-to” and “shared-with”.  Assigned-to is a field value that allows you to filter records on, shared-with relates to security (who can see what).

To confirm what records the other user can see try “Show {shared with} > {workgroup name}“.  Then, to see records based on assigned-to ensure that the contact record has the “assigned-to” field set to the value you are filtering by.
