Sending emails immediately after template insertion

Once a template is inserted, the email is sent according to the time that was set when original template (or email) was created, right? Is it possible to send an email right after the creation of the template? I’d like to use the scheduled email facility to send emails to newly created contacts… thanks, Alef

Mar 02, 2010 10:23am Engineering SpecialOps Administrator 3952 posts	If you set a scheduled email to be sent 3 days from now, then insert that scheduled email into a template, it will be sent 3 days from whenever it is inserted from the template. Essentially you could set the scheduled email to the current date and time (or even earlier) and it will be send in the next five minutes (same will apply when inserting from a template).
