disappearing items?

I’ve tried to add 3 formatted notes to a Company record and they didn’t show up. They don’t show up in the “actions logged for everyone” Activities Dashboard either.  I’m not sure what’s wrong…

I also had something else not show up—when I added a time-tracking item to an event, it didn’t show.  But the 2nd time I tried this it did show up.

Are these type of oddities normal, or is there a good reason I am hitting these issues?  Thanks for your time.

It seems the items didn’t disappear, rather they were not created successfully, that would be quite unusual.  Does this happen consistently?

Please try the same with Firefox so we can determine if Chrome is the factor in this specific case.

If you are using a virus scanning system that scans Internet traffic you may want to also add *.solve360.com to the list of “safe sites” to ensure it’s not messing with the information being exchanged.

Ok this is weird.  I just spent a few minutes writing up a reply with the ‘Fast Reply’ option here, and hitting “Submit Post” brought up the regular “Post Reply” screen, and everything I typed was lost.  Hitting ‘back’ did not restore it. :(

I’ll write up again later tonight…

I’ve had a few similar issues with Chrome. I add something and it isn’t there. I close and reopen solve and voila, it’s there

After testing it on another computer and it worked fine, I went back to the original machine and tried a few things.  Turns out it was one of my many extensions in Chrome.  I’m not sure which one—once I narrow it down, I’ll report back.

The majority of issues reported with Firefox always related to naughty plug-ins installed.  I didn’t suspect that here because we haven’t hear of / experienced similar issues with Chrome; until this one.  However, Chrome plug-ins are very new…so we’ll probably need to start keeping an eye out there as well.

Thanks for the update.

BTW if ever in doubt, click the “Refresh view” on the page to force a reload from the system (it will force the browser to reload data and redraw the page with what we have).

Turns out it was the “Buzz Mobilizer Extension”

In case anyone else comes up with this issue.

Thanks for sharing that.  I’m certain it will be helpful to others as well.
