Minor quirks, part 2

Using Safari (OSX), sometimes the fields do not stay selected.  For example, a simple cut & paste becomes an issue.  Once the field is selected, it occasionally reverts to un-selected status.  Also, when highlighting words or phrases, the highlighted item sometimes “grays out” rendering it un-copyable.

Also, when using macmail, I have the rules set to “redirect” all mail to the dropbox address.  However, it continues to send 2 copies of the message to the contacts activity area.

I am still unable to get the contact or company to populate each other’s fields (ie-address, phones, etc.).  I am still cutting and pasting the old-fashioned way.  I know you answered this issue previously, but it isn’t working for me.

Otherwise, I am slowly integrating all my activities into Solve360.  Special bonus points:  1.) When uploading pdf’s or docs, it is the speediest I have encountered.  Also, you can select and upload multiple simultaneously!  2.) Your response time to this forum and/or support assistance is phenomenal!

Let me know how to address the above-referenced issues.

We do know of an issue specifically with Safari - after updating a field value the field loses its focus.  We’ll come back to this in a few weeks, after Blog publish and a few other important features are complete

Please post what rules you set in Macmail.  Do you also have a forward set on your actual email account?  BTW you can now delete email messages in the dropbox.

Our answer to your contacts/companies question is to wait until more company fields are shown on the contact record.  We are working hard to make it difficult to copy/paste the same data all over the place.  I mean, the system should be doing that work, once the data is there you should not need to anything more.

Thanks for the kind words.  I’ll pass them on to the others that are working hard to make this the best system possible.

The mail rules are as follows:
Description:  Solve360
If any of the following conditions are met: Every Message
Perform the following actions: Redirect Message to:  my dropbox address

Also, the individual delete button on the pop-up email screen does not work.  If I hit delete, it simply scrolls through various and unrelated email.

Are you sure when clicking delete it is not just advancing to the next message in the list?

Click refresh to update the linked email list and check the deleted items bin.

I am most sure.  There are no deleted emails in the Solve360 trash.  I must have tried a dozen times today.  Also, the next button leads to a completely unrelated email.  It appears it is a random scroll from the dropbox.

I checked into your account.  The deleted bin shows dozens of deleted emails ranging from 1m ago to 2 days ago.  Reopen the deleted items window, then click on the “deleted date” to sort by date.

I swear they were not there before!!  It appears that after deleting an emai, you have to hit “refresh” to remove it from the page.  Also, the next or previous buttons in the email pop-up window scroll randomly…HONEST!

After we add new functionality we typically return a week or so later to refine it (the small details that matter).  We just added email delete.  We will refreshing the list automatically when we come back to this area but until then you need to update the page by clicking the refresh contact option.

I rechecked some of your contacts, the email messages do appear to be following the date order.  If you have a specific example that we could look into please email the info to support@ and we’d be happy to have a closer look.

It appears that after deleting an email, you have to hit “refresh” to remove it from the page.

The linked email list is now updated automatically.  You should see this the next time you login.
