Linking Email Messages to Contacts, Companies, Project Blogs
The dropbox feature automatically attaches email messages to the correct Contact, Company and Project Blog so all prior history and email correspondence is in one place and can be shared with other users. It works with your current email system, requires nothing to install, and is simple to use - like magic with no tricks.To connect an email message to a Contact, Company or Project Blog page simply email the message to the unique dropbox email address we provide to your team. When sending emails simply add the dropbox email address to the bcc address field, when receiving emails forward the messages directly to the dropbox email address. When forwarding an email the body of the forwarded email must include the contact’s email address or name as it appears in the contact record for example: “From: Gerald Black <gblack@northrock.com>” so the system can automatically establish the link. Most email programs will do this for you automatically.
The dropbox email address is shown in the Linked-emails activity for shared Contact, Company and Project Blog pages if there are no email messages currently associated with the item. Linked-emails activity:

When you create a Contact a Linked-emails activity is automatically added for you. For Companies and Project Blogs you must add this activity manually by clicking on the “Linked-emails” option in the “Add an activity” dropdown. The Linked-emails activity is a filtered view into the dropbox. Deleting this activity will only delete the view it will not delete the actual messages saved in the dropbox.
After you send email messages to the dropbox click on the Refresh button on the top right of the page to see the new messages linked to the page. Linked-emails activity with linked messages:

I sent an email message to a Solve360 contact, but I forgot to add Solve360 as a recipient. How can I get this email into Solve360? If you saved a copy (e.g. in your Sent Items folder) just forward the message to the dropbox address as normal.
Does Solve360 support formatted (HTML) email messages and attachments? Absolutely, Solve360 is optimized to work with both formatted (HTML) and plain-text email messages and all email attachments are preserved in their original form. Email attachments can also be downloaded directly from within the Email Preview window within Solve360.
How can I change my Solve360 dropbox address? Click Workspace, Set Workgroups and double-click on the Workspace name to change it.

What is a Workgroup? A Workgroup is a place you save Contacts, Companies and Project Blogs so you can share them with other users. It’s like a private room that only certain members of your team can access. Emailing a message into this Workgroup (or “room”) will enable the system to relate the message to other items saved in the same Workgroup such as Contacts, Companies and Project Blogs.
