Norada is Hiring - Technical Support Engineer (FILLED)

We're growing and so busy our eyes are starting to bleed. It’s time to expand our tight team, again.

Norada is an innovative cloud-based business application provider and is looking for a special person for a full-time Technical Support Engineer position. You will provide a range of essential services to assist our clients and support Norada's day-to-day operations including:

  • Answering feature related questions about our service and trouble-shooting client situations using email, phone, screen-sharing, and discussion forums
  • Sharing best practices on how to maximize the value clients receive from the service
  • Monitoring and first level support of our hosting environment

You must

  • Be the person your family and colleagues go to for computer advice
  • Be empathetic, resourceful, energetic i.e. really love helping people
  • Demonstrated you are trust-worthy and reliable
  • Have great written English communication skills
  • Be neurotic about details and quality

It would be ideal if you also had experience with

  • CRM, Internet software, databases, Google Apps, all things Web
  • Linux, Apache and related services
  • Had a sense of humor, played a musical instrument and walked on water

The best candidates would share our passion for

  • Sharing the passion our clients have for their business and be empathetic to their situation and needs
  • Offering immediate, simple and useful solutions to questions

Preference will be given to people who are not formally schooled in Computer Science, but through a natural curiosity found a way to it (that would make you interesting). Education and experience are important, but we're more concerned about what you are capable of. It would be ideal if you were based in Western Canada, but if you’re the one I’ll make it work.
