Introduction
Norada Corporation (“Norada”, ”We”, ”Us”, ”Our”) owns and operates the Solve™ site, located at norada.com and solve360.com, the Solve™ mobile application (the “Application”), the Solve™ Google Sheets add-on, and the Solve™ Gmail add-on. Together the Solve site, the Solve mobile application, and the Solve add-ons are referred to as the “Service”. At Norada, we respect an Account Holder’s right to and expectation of privacy, and accordingly maintain and adhere to a privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”)
This Privacy Policy discloses the types of personal information collected and stored by Norada and how that information is used to support Norada’s Web site operations, provision contracted services, and carry on the related sales and support activities (the “Service”). All Clients (“Account Holders”, ”You”, ”Your”) must acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
Information we collect
Contact Information
When customers fill out an online form to contact Norada, Norada collects some personal information, including but not limited to name, company name, size of company, name, phone number, email address, and reason for contact. This information is used to follow up with the customer’s initial queries in a timely manner.
Client Information
When Account Holders sign up and pay for the Service, Norada collects personal information, including but not limited to name, email address, phone number, and payment information.
User Account Data
If an Account Holder registers an account on the Service all private information saved within the account is stored on secure servers, which process the information in order to provide Account Holders with authenticated access to their account, store and manage various types of information, including but not limited to email, databases and files. Account contents are backed up to separate storage systems daily for the purpose of recovery from errors or system failure. Copies of email messages, databases and files may remain on the backup storage systems even after Account Holders delete the private information from their accounts or after termination of the contracted Service.
Internet Information
Norada collects statistical information about how clients (“Account Holders”) locate and navigate our Web sites. This information, sent by normal Web browsers, usually includes the browser type, Internet Protocol (IP) address and referring URL. This information is used to analyze trends, improve the usefulness of the Service, enhance the positioning of Web sites within Internet search engines, gather broad demographic information for aggregate use, and help diagnose problems. Account Holders remain anonymous unless they voluntarily contact Norada by filling out an online form.
Device Information
When the Account Holder downloads the Solve mobile application, Norada may collect information about the Account Holder’s mobile device, including, for example, the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifier, and mobile network information.
Location Information
Some portions of the Service implement Google Maps/Earth mapping services, including Google Maps API(s). The Account Holder’s use of Google Maps/Earth is subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy, and may be amended by Google from time to time. If the Account Holder permits the Service to access location services through the permission system used by the mobile operating system, Norada may also collect the precise location of the Account Holder’s device when the Service is running in the foreground or background.
Email Log Information
To facilitate troubleshooting and improve the quality of the Service, Norada automatically collects and reviews certain information relating to the usage of its email services. This information is stored in server logs.
Use of Cookies
The Service uses cookies to establish an Account Holder login session, set Account Holder tailored options and optionally to save an Account Holder’s login information so they do not have to re-enter it each time they authenticate to the Service. This feature is specific to the particular browser that the User has installed on their computer. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information other than is stated here. Web browsers are designed to accept cookies. By default, most browsers are configured to accept cookies without notifying the User. Cookies are safe and most web sites use them frequently. Browsers can be configured to refuse cookies, but the Service will not work without them.
Aggregate Statistical Information
We may collect aggregated statistical information for purposes of improving the Service. This data does not contain personally identifying information, such as name or email address. For example, we may disclose that 10% of our Account Holders live in California.
Billing
To process commercial transactions, we collect information related to each transaction, such as the amount and the necessary identifying information, including the credit card information, contact information, and email addresses of the parties involved.
Information from third parties and integration partners
We collect your personal information or data from third parties if you give permissions to those third parties to share your information with us or where you have made that information publicly available online.
How We Use Information
Your data will be used by Norada in accordance with your instructions, including any applicable terms in the Terms of Use, in your use of the Services, in a completed Data Processing Addendum where applicable, and as required by applicable law. Norada is a processor of Account Holder Data and the Account Holder is the controller.
Norada uses Account Holder data in furtherance of our legitimate interests in operating our Services, Website, and business. More specifically, Norada uses Account Holder information:
- To provide, update, maintain, and protect our Services, Website, and business.
- As required by applicable law, legal process, or regulation.
- To communicate with the Account Holder by responding to requests, comments, and questions.
- To develop and provide additional features.
- To send emails and other communications.
- For billing, account management, and other administrative matters.
- To investigate and help prevent security issues and abuse.
Using information from third parties and integration partners
You can log in to the Service using single sign-on services from Google and Microsoft. The single sign-on will authenticate your identity and we will collect your name and email address to pre-populate our sign up form.
Google User Data
Service Access: The data our Service accesses from your Google account is defined as "Google User Data."
Usage: We solely use Google User Data to enable features that are clearly visible within our Service's interface. Transfer of Google User Data to third parties not affiliated with us will only occur if necessary to meet legal obligations. Norada will not use or share your Google User Data for purposes unrelated to our service, such as advertising, including but not limited to, retargeting, personalized, or interest-based ads.
Privacy Safeguards: Access to your Google User Data by our staff, such as Support Engineers, is strictly limited. We require your consent, or it must be deemed necessary for security reasons, to comply with legal obligations, or when the information is used for internal operations after being anonymized.
Compliance: Our handling and sharing of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use provisions.
Google Workspace Integrations
Gmail: Linking your Gmail with our Service enables email management directly within our platform. This includes reading, composing, sending, sharing, and deleting emails. We don’t store your emails permanently, but a temporary cache might be used to enhance performance and reduce API calls. You can revoke our access anytime via your Google account settings.
Calendar: By linking your Google Calendar, you allow the Service to display and manage your calendar events. This includes viewing, editing, sharing, and deleting events. Data from Google Calendar events may be stored if Calendar Sync is enabled. Access can be revoked in your Google account settings.
Drive: Linking Google Drive allows you to search for and link files from Drive within our Service. We don’t read, copy, or alter your Drive files.
Data Deletion
We permanently remove your data 6 to 12 months after your subscription ends.
Disclosure to Third Parties
WE WILL NOT USE CLIENT OR ACCOUNT HOLDER INFORMATION FOR ANY PURPOSES OTHER THAN TO PROVIDE THE CONTRACTED SERVICES. MORE SPECIFICALLY, WE WILL NOT SHARE INDIVIDUALLY IDENTIFIABLE CLIENT OR ACCOUNT HOLDER INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED PURPOSES DESCRIBED BELOW.
- In accordance with the Terms of Use of the Service, whenever it is necessary or appropriate to comply with the law or legal process, to protect our systems and clients, or to ensure the integrity and operation of our business and systems.
- We have the express permission of the Client, such as provided in the Terms of Use.
- As required to process commercial transactions.
- on your instructions, we share your information or data if you choose to use an integration in conjunction with the Service, to the extent necessary to facilitate this.
Internal Uses
A very limited number of Norada employees are able to access Account Holders’ information. These senior employees are specifically trained and experienced with regard to the practices and importance of maintaining Clients’ privacy and are only authorized to access Account Holders’ account information on an as needed basis to complete tasks related to the maintenance and operation of the Service, or fulfill Account Holder requests.
International Data Transfers
Norada may transfer the Account Holder’s personal data to countries other than the one in which the Account Holder resides. Norada deploys the European Union Model Clauses as a safeguard if Norada transfers personal data originating from the European Union or Switzerland to other countries not deemed adequate under applicable data protection law. The European Union Model Clauses, also known as Standard Contractual Clauses, meet the adequacy and security requirements for our Account Holders that operate in the European Union, and other international transfers of Account Holder data. Security
Norada has put in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information that is collected. Various security technologies have been implemented to ensure that external parties cannot access or modify Account Holders’ personal information on Norada’s Network and encryption is used to for data transmission and data storage. Children
The Service is not available to children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, under no circumstances should you send us any personally identifying information, attempt to register or otherwise utilize the Service. If parents believe their child (any age under 18) has accessed our Service without their permission, they can contact our Customer Service department listed at the end of this notice.
California Do Not Track
The Service does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) or similar signals.
Corporate Changes
If there is a change of ownership or control of Norada, such as a merger or acquisition by another company, Norada will provide its Account Holders 30 days notice of such change.
Corrections and Updates
Account Holders can update their personal information at anytime by contacting Norada’s Customer Service department listed at the end of this notice.
Deactivation or Changes to Personal Information
Account Holders may terminate an account or update their personal information by sending a written request to our Customer Service department listed at the end of this notice, at which User Account Data will be removed from all secure servers.
Notification of Changes
This Privacy Policy may be revised over time, so please review it periodically. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will also notify Account Holders by means of a notice on our Web sites. Please check this Web site regularly for information about revisions to our Privacy Policy.
Official Language
All services to be provided, all obligations of Norada, and all communications between the parties with respect to this Privacy Policy will be done in the English language. The parties to this Privacy Policy confirm and agree that this Policy, and all related documentation will be in the English language. Web pages which are translated from English may contain errors / omissions. If for any reason the translated text is incorrect the English text shall be deemed as the official notice.
